Horrific again. Watched Fox this morning with Geraldo Riveira (sp) on/near campus talking to some students etc. Heart goes out to those poor people.

Police identified the classroom shooter as Cho Seung-Hui, 23, a senior from South Korea who was in the English department and lived in another dorm on campus. They said Cho committed suicide after the attacks, and there was no indication Tuesday of a possible motive.

Some one went berzerk and killed 32 people including themselves at Virgina Tech. Another sign of how the US society is producing mentally depressed individuals who have no hope in life. May Allah guide everyone..

One reason, we in the UK don't have shooting sprees like this one is, firearms are not as freely available, even after this, my guess is people in USA will still have the right to bear firearms, this incident won't change anything and don't be surprised there will be more massacres like this one in the furture.

When I posted that, there was no news of who was behind this. And it seemed like a typical Columbine type attack.
However, the guns in the US are part of the problem here.

the shooter signed his note “Ismail Ax”, talked about debauchery on campus and stuff. Could this be the Islamic connection?
