Urdu Speakers will always be the majority in Karachi. Pashtuns can as much babies as they want but they will never become the majority. They have all of KP and FATA for themselves and even parts of Balochistan. Them increasing has just caused more violence, poverty and illiteracy.

I love how people say MQM forces people to vote for them or rigs the votes. Get this through your head, majority of Karachiites love MQM. MQM is the only party that is from the educated middle class and opposed terrorism and feudalism. Only party that isn’t blood politics and anyone can become a senior member.

You claim that they rig votes, so they rig votes in all of Karachi. They rig votes in AJK, Hyderabad, Sukkur Mirpur Khas etc?

They have been caught rigging elections. What more proof do you want?

If KP is the home of Pashtuns then I am sorry to say that Karachi is the home of Sindhis and Baloch.

The violence has not been caused by Pashtuns but by the MQM and its ethynic chauvinism. It is the prime terrorist organisation within Pakistan. The population of Urdu speakers is not growing as fast as Pashtuns in Karachi. This is Pakistan every Pakistani should be welcome everywhere! Urdu speakers have been more than welcome to Peshawar , Lahore Multan etc

By the way The floods have encouraged more and more Sindhis to move to Karachi too.
