It is actually ANP who plays double game when it comes to Karachi. There are hundreds of Taliban fasadis in Karachi who have come to hide. But ANP never acknowledged their presence. Even though there have been several Taliban operatives captured from Karachi … proving their presence.
If MQM is no enemy of Taliban then why are their members on the hit list of Taliban extremists?

KARACHI, (SANA): Tehreek-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) threatened to attack Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
According to a message released from Taliban media center, Tehreek Taliban Pakistan has threatened to target MQM and its associated people declaring them responsible for target killing in Karachi and for the violation of law and order situation in country.
TTP in its message said, “Assault on Ahmedi worship places in Lahore is a right act”, while warned for more attacks on Ahmedis and law enforcement agencies.
According to Pakistani media reports, Umar asked Altaf Hussain - chief of the ethnic Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM) - to wind up his groups activities in the port city of Karachi. Pakistan’s financial capital would soon fall to the Taliban, Umar asserted, saying the fighters were awaiting Mehsud’s orders to storm the city.
We warn Altaf Hussain to stop issuing statements against Taliban and end his kingdom in Karachi, otherwise we will launch attacks against the MQM and its leaders once we are given the go-ahead by Mehsud, Faqir and Umar said.
