Who knows how many muhajirs and pashtuns are there in Punjab or Karachi, as there has not been any census during the past more than 10 years. But I have seen an exponential rise in mohajir and pashtun population in Lahore in recent years.

Urdu speakers are leaving Karachi because of the consistent violence there. Karachi was peaceful until Musharaf started the whole CJ issue and in May 2007 Karachi exploded and since then the flames of hate have not been out out.
