Most of the fault lies squarely with the MQM forthe way they operate. They do not own Karachi. Anything the Pashtuns have done is in retaliation but there is sadly only so much they can take without resorting to some tactics used by the MQM.

The MQM started te ethnic attacks on Pashtuns. There are Pashtun gangsters in Karachi but they never operated for Pashtu interests - however, the MQM started attacking these people and many legitimate business men because they were Pashtuns.

There are many Pashtuns in Punjab yet do you see Punjabis and Pashtuns at war?

How do you know it was MQM’s policy to kill people? Just because there are some Urdu speaking terrorists killing some Pashtuns it doesn’t mean that MQM itself is to be blamed.

And how can you not call it terrorism when there is indiscriminate killing of Urdu speaking people happening in the city? How can you not blame Pashtun Taliban who declared Urdu speaking people “jews” and approved fatwas to kill them indiscriminately?

There are not as many Pashtuns in Punjab as there are in a single city of Karachi. Karachi has more Pashtuns than Peshawar. Think twice before making any comparisons between a CITY and a PROVINCE.
