Violence explodes across North Karachi

Re: Violence explodes across North Karachi

looks like it was an orchestrated effort to have ethnic warfare in Karachi.

effort of who? Martians? ETS?

Name the culprit bhai saab...........! we all know its mqm

the initial firing was from the mountains, so its clear who it was.
effort of taleban types who have not been happy that Karachi's pashtuns have not fallen prey to displaced ethnic loyalties to start supporting taleban who are majority pashtun.

when you say 'we all know' who is this 'we' that yo are representing here. you and your pokeman collection?

Agreed. Most probably diverting attention of military action from north to south. Some entity seemed to be deadly against the existance of the country. Sanity should prevail over madness. Pakistan can not bear any more disasters like that particularly in big city like Karachi.

Re: Violence explodes across North Karachi

Land mafia in collaboration with talibunnies is my thought. And sadly it does not take much to ignite hatred among MQM and ANP.

Kehkeshan bhai, dar asal aap ki information is more like disinformation. Yeh aap khan se ulti seedhi khabrain laatay hain?:)

Re: Violence explodes across North Karachi

My info is very accurate - feel free to prove me wrong. Ask anyone from karachi on the power of the land mafia and what they have been doing the last couple of years - also ask them what ethnicity majority of land mafia belongs too.

i frankly dont know and it frustrates me that why they MQM allow things to mess up whenever they start getting positive reviews.

i dont know for sure if they MQM are behind it but if you talk to people of those areas they would tell you the truth...

Kalam e Altaf

It was good to see MQM, ANP giving out joint statements to cool down people.

Gilani thinks outsiders could be involved and that's quite possible, someone making use of the political unrest to further destabilize the country and open another front.

Re: Violence explodes across North Karachi

Altaf Hussain, the fat necked don of Karachi controlling his mafia (MQM) from abroad through that little henchman mayor of his, might think he has a chance to finally eliminate the poor Pakhtuns of Karachi altogether under the guise of Talibuunn-izaatiun… HOWEVER, Altaf Kong, be warned, Pakhtuns are warriors, you point a gun at them, they’ll point a rocket launcher right at you. Burn as many buses or destroy as many of their restaurants in Karachi, it might make you feel like a ‘man’ (though you are still and will always be a zanaani) but remember what goes comes around.

indeed, it did look like an attempt to create a conflict. luckily it seems like most people are smart and did not fall for it, idiots did and do as we can see. Thank god they are in a minority.

did you guys see MQM press conference.

Yes, we are idiots for not believing Altaf Hussain is a farishta indeed.

Re: Violence explodes across North Karachi

I clearly meant the people engaging in violence in Karachi. and thank god that they are in a minority otherwise the clashes in teh city would be worse.

nope, what did they say, was there one by ANP as well?

Re: Violence explodes across North Karachi

talked to my folks yesterday, things were pretty bad. party workers were targetted apparently, so this isnt just a case of random ethnic violence. hopefully it doesnt spiral out of hand.

Re: Violence explodes across North Karachi

I talked to my folks and they told me that the street vendor who used to sell fruits and vegetables is shot to death. He was an ethnic pashtun and has nothing to do with politics and my folks told me that it was mqm party workers who tortured him first and shot him in the head.

Its not random....but its planned act of MQM who was building grounds for it for an year now!

Re: Violence explodes across North Karachi

^ if that is the case it will be clear in the coming days. lets hope however that there is no further violence.

I see, so its not ethnic violence? Then what is it? And why are all the major press authorities calling it ethnic violence? Why is the police chief calling it ethnic violence?

DAWN.COM | Metropolitan | Death toll of Karachi violence climbs to 34

However, the capital city police chief, Waseem Ahmed, said that 30 people were killed in the ethnic violence, while the police arrested 50 miscreants and seized 17 weapons from them.
