The JF-17 flight with the flag belly was one of the proudest moments of my life.

The PAF Chief’s flypast was also very exciting. Later when he arrived the President, PM and the other service chiefs (including VCOAS and CJCSC) were clearly seen in appreciative gestures. Was a good sight.
There were also some grins when the SSG commander Maj Gen Tariq Maqbool lost balance upon landing in an otherwise perfect landing with the flag. In 2005 Mag Gen Amir Alvi then commander SSG had also lost balance in the same manner. The Younger lot that is new at the skill and more in practice is amazingly smooth.

The parade honorary guard commander Major Taimoor was an impressive officer from the *charwanja *6FF. Major Shabbir’s battalion.

The Army Heritage Foundation march, an addition to the parade and a brilliant new concept is just amazing!
