^^^ So you people are like us, in our country everyone fights to get declared as backward :D. In our country cleaning our personal toilets, Jamadars are required, so if Jamadars are on strike everyone will **** in stinky toilets :D

In UP, it costs just Rs 50 per month per toilet :D, when I used to live in Kanpur it used to be Jamadarni

UP is quite sasta.. I don't think that in Pakistan a person taking Kachra would be getting less than Rs 100 per month for house.

there are mainly three people, Kaam waali bai- 200, Koore waala- free by municipality and Jamadarni

Caste discrimination somehow seems to be more in Punjab (both sides of the border).

are bhai maharashtra me to hindu upper castes bhi dalit se shadi kar lete hain...thodi bahot batein hoti hain aur sab chup....:)

In india it is everywhere :), it has even political connotations, as caste based politics of India runs on it :slight_smile:

In Pakistan it's mainly Punjab and maybe Sindh. In kpk and balochistan, people do have tribal affiliations but I have never heard of discriminations based upon the lineage.

The issue of slavery as hilighted in the article also have deep roots in Pakistan too. Lower castes can be easily exploited. Recently story of Veeru Kohli (who also contested general elections) revealed this practice in Sindh. Mustansar Hussain TaraR’s ‘Sooraj ke sath sath’ also hilighted this issue.

^ my family only marries within syeds. There's only three families that I can think of who married their daughters to non syeds.
