Re: very worried.. leavl 2 ultrasound, pls reply
I don’t want to change the main focus of this topic but…
I didnt mean to offend anyone. I was just trying to help out as she wanted ayat karima so i just copied and pasted it from a website. I also don’t really know the amount of times it should be read. But I do know that you can read it in times of difficulty and I think you should read it as often as you’d like. I’ve heard of 720 (from the link I’ve posted) and I’ve heard of 1000. I’ve even heard of 100,000. In all honesty, its a special ayah from the Quran so I don’t see why there should be a problem in reading it as many times as you want. You do get hasanat from every letter of the Quran you read. So why not avail this opportunity? Also the reason it says AMBIYA is because of tajweed rulings. I’m not sure how familiar you are but because anbiya has a noon sakina followed by a Ba we use the ruling of Iqlab which gives a meem sound. So Ambiya is simply for pronounication.
On another note, I felt that your method of trying to correct me was unislamic in its own way. To say that I’m hijacking YOUR religion is really rude! We should follow the Sunnah of the Prophet in correcting people. The Prophet SAW used lots of different methods to correct people depending on what their mistake was. The worse the mistake, the more harsh he was. I honestly don’t think my mistake was that big that you had to deal with me so harshly. Also you are older than me and there’s a way to deal with younger people (I’m only 17) who may not be knowledgeable as you. By acting the way you did you may make a person feel that they shouldn’t involve themselves in Islamic discussions which will never make them learn. I don’t know if I’m right or wrong but I now know I should recheck my sources.
We ask Allah SWT, may He be glorified and exalted, to guide us and protect us, to make us openers of good and closers of evil, and to guide others through us, for He is the All-Hearing, the Ever-Near, Who answers prayers. He is the Best of supporters and the Best of helpers, and He is the Guide to the Straight Path. May Allah SWT bless the Prophet SAW and all his family and companions. Praise be to Allah SWT, the Lord of the Worlds.
BTW thank you Mabrook and Lusi
