i actually do wish they had done half hindu half muslim. hope it doesn't cause communal clashes
why was babri masjid demolished in the first place, Ram temple might or might not have been destroyed by mughals but it was something that happened hundreds of years ago, why was it brought up all of a sudden in the 90s. i always thought it was a way of dividing hindu and muslim indians by corrupt politicians, that's what secular indians always say and i agree with them.

If Muslims can tolerate the call to prayer by Hindus using bells and Hindus can tolerate Muslim Azan next to their temple then there should be no issue.
I dont think that this would be such an uncommon thing in India anyways, so it should be ok

so concievably does this set the precedent for the destruction of every mosque that was once a Hindu temple centuries ago. Theres this blokewhos been compiling a list of all masjids in India, I suppose now you have the green light to destroy them all and get the courts to give you the land.

I cant see it happening my friend, if it did then it would make todays ruling totally useless. I'm sure both sides can check thier extremists, dialogue and debate are the only real ways you can solve the matter, violence lacks strength where reason can prevail.
Doubtless if the times come to it and the very heart of what we call civilization collapses then inevatably the saffron robed and the Kalashnikov wielder will clash in a bloody manner but so long as a scrap of humanity and sense of reason remains in some peoples minds then it cannot happen.
Never let a few ruin it for the many, this is not a battle between black and white but a debatable argument of many shades.

what a panchayat style verdict... essentially since the question posed to the court was one that could not be answered (the legal system doesn't have any capacity to decide on a theological or historical issue), the judges decided to play the role of a panchayat and distribute the land.
This was expected though, but as a secular person, I'd have liked for the court to allocate the land to some type of multi-faith / multi-cultural community center... rather than distribute it among the plaintiffs.

I can just say that MashaAllah Quaid-e-Azam was so right that he visioned a separate state. he not only saved muslims but all the hindus out there from getting into riots with muslims.

I don't want to see violence or people killed but point has to be made.
Is thier proof there was a temple? because the so called proof by india so far is incomplete report and a scan of something that looks like a idol allegedly is this your proof??
Most important point is this is a complete farce and failure for india justice and secular system. If you muslim you can forget justice from India because you will get the worst jobs worst access to education and be lower than the untouchables. So if muslims had big dream of getting justice for babri mosque which was destroyed by the nice hindu extremists who where involved in destruction, guess what the Indian court bring you back to reality!

it was built on vacant stretch of land and not on any temple..hindus held same view for centuries till 1990's when radical hindu militant outfits such as BJP and Shivsena showed up and inorder to gain political support they floated this temple myth.Congress party of india also calls temple claim bogus and without any substance or foundation.
