I just watched the episode ( post Veena eviction) akhri salam and sorry to say no matter what she's done that's her personal life. Are India's Rakhi sawant and Mallika Sherwat dhod main washed? I don't think so. They have plenty of worse people in their industry. Unfortunately us Pakistanis degrade our actors ourselves and worship theirs. Take a look at our own dramas. Our dramas are unbeatable. We don't have the typical saas bahu scenarios. Our dramas actually have SUBSTANCE. We have exceedingly gorgeous females in our country yet we worship their actresses. C'mon people wake up and smell the coffee. I'm annoyed at the way Rani kinda blanked our actress out. I couldn't help wonder it could be the typical complex that many women have regrading beauty? Whereas, she was so sweet towards Rakhi Sawant in some show. I just don't understand why our artists are treated like crap such as Atif Aslam ( Abhijeet something publicly insulted him), Adnan Sami was heavily criticised. Why? We have extremely talented people who don't get the much deserved due in our own country. If their Rakhi Sawant, Neha Dhupia or even Malika visits our country I can say that our people would welcome them with open arms no matter what they are and where they come from.
We need to learn to stop criticising our own actors ( I used to do that) and people stop worshipping others.

She is beghairat though mkd ... thats not wat we see pakistani culture as ... as far as atif aslam and adnan samih are concerned we should support that and I thought that was unfair to them

she wasn't doing those things in the privacy of her own house. she was doing it on a reality show. she knew it will be seen by public. its not her personal life. when meera or mona lisa did those crappy movies with poor acting n body exposures no body said it was their private life.

Mabrook my main concern isn't her personal life or screen persona rather it is the way OUR actors are treated across the border. I'm a bit hurt and disgusted at the same time after looking at the episode. I feel they have similar actresses in their industry too. I'm not sure if you're aware of this but recently Yana Gupta ( Bollywood "item girl") exposed her private parts in public. All i'm saying is that they do worse things but somehow our actors go through a hell load of crap.
Yes some of the things Veena did were wrong. I'm not denying that but lets take Rakhi Sawant in Pati Patni aur Woh ( Indian reality show) did bad things too. Do you see people ridiculing her infront of her? :)
To be honest after watching the show i'm totally put off Bollywood. I'm not a fan of Lollywood either but atleast Resham welcomed Urmila with open arms when she was in Pak :)

Yes she is beghairat i’m not denying that but seriously libran you need to watch that episode. It was horriffic! A woman like Dolly Bindra who says things which I cant even type ( who’s still on the show) gets some respect.
Ditto i’m not a fan of the behaviour but i’m glad someone understood my main point!

If Pakistan had any respect for artists Lollywood wouldn't be the craphole it is right now and any girl like Veena wouldn't be able to become a celebrity in Pakistan.

yeh mamla yahan tak pohanchta hi nahi agar pakistan se koi decent jata. meri veena ke baare main koi aisi opinion nahi thi pehle lekin maine socha tha ke veena big boss pe acha perform kare gi lekin afsos.

well if you meant to say that Pakistani actors are discriminated against in India then you are wrong. if you want to go in to a highly competitive industry where people are ready to cut your throat for little success then you will have to face all these problems.
Same thing happens with every star , be it big or small.
If India didnt like them then they wouldnt be working in India.
Its the talent people respect regardless of nationality both in India and Pakistan.
India has always supported Pakistani artists and welcomed them with open heart. just listen to any of their interviews. they are full of praises about India.
Bollywood attracts people of many nationalities in a small but significant number. But only Pakistanis get special treatment.

bichari veena ne kya galat kiya. wo sirf ek bimar aadmi ko boiled khana hi tou khila rahi thi. baki log kaise zalim hai, ek bimar aadmi ko oobla hua khana nahi khila sakte.

In respect to jo bhi sab nay kaha mein ye zaroor kahoun gi kay Veena humaray mulk ko represent ker rahi thi.... regardless the fact wo jo merzi kerti phiray.... usko itna khayal rakhna chahiye tha, kay uski aik aik herkat lo unkay channels walay pakistan ki lerki bol ker paish ker rahay haen.... per wahan maamla kuch aur he tha.... as we all know

this is true pak artists go to india for sake of money n fame and aren't treated respectfully. even when newcomers attend singing shows like sare gama we can see how they r ignored. none has won so far as per my knowledge. but then y they go there? isn't it their own choice? and if they do they should learn to earn respect not lose it even more. i remember that sara girl in sare gama. she looked so nice n decent throughout the show. thats how it should it. may be pak ppl should do same with indian artists. i too hate it how they r ready to lick their shoes.

Absolutely! Shweta looked as she always does, Anchal for some reason doesn't look good to me in any case...I don't know why some people in the house referred to her as fairy...because she is no where near, our Pakistani models are way better (I am not exactly comparing but just saying that because she's a model). Others i don't even want to talk about...because they didn't even come close to looking good. While Sara Khan's face i feel looks bigger every time i see her on screen...I didn't see Veena performing but her hair, dress everything looked good.
