i remember that but that was b/c when sara, veena, shweta were cooking they would taste the food while cooking it, they kind of “double dipped” if you understand.
even in the west, it’s just proper kitchen etiquette not to taste the food with a utensil that you’re cooking with and then putting that same utensil back in the cooking pot again. that’s just nasty, anybody wouldn’t like that. plus that manoj is from the villages, he’s used to a certain way of life.
i’ve seen how some people are like here when speaking about being around nonmuslims.
