i remember that but that was b/c when sara, veena, shweta were cooking they would taste the food while cooking it, they kind of "double dipped" if you understand.
even in the west, it's just proper kitchen etiquette not to taste the food with a utensil that you're cooking with and then putting that same utensil back in the cooking pot again. that's just nasty, anybody wouldn't like that. plus that manoj is from the villages, he's used to a certain way of life.

why in the world do tamil movies have chubby actresses, i'm sure they have pretty faces but why the chubby requirement? i just saw a tamil song "epaadi epaadi".......or something like that...............i never thought i would say that i love hindi movie actresses, but after watching that song, I wub bollywood.
atleast they look healthy and not obese like the tamil actresses. nothing against tamil movies, i'm pretty sure the stories might be a lot better than hindi movies.
I was wondering this as well, some of them actually look more obese than chubby.. That Namitha is the obvious one that springs to mind, pretty face but the body.. a heart attack waiting to happen.. She's really tall as well, think how much she must eat to be that size..

I remember him being completely against Begum dude when he was there...even though when there were much retarded people present at that time he just made him the target of his taunts. He had a huge fight with Dolly yet he was fine with her but because of one or two incidents he turned against Veena...and i think he had this thing against Ashmit because of that as well. Even today in akhri salaam thing he chose Sara over Veena because not only is she muslim but from Pakistan..even when he was shown the clip that has lots of things said by Shweta and Sara.
He didn't clearly say anything but he really didn't want to share his food because there were muslims/Pakistanis sharing it as well - I am not saying its a new thing or because a non muslim said that so its a big deal but bayta even his own fans/ the Indian voters didn't like his attitude and voting doesn't change in just one day. If you recall the celebrity Big Brother you will realize that even Jade Goodys attitude was the same with Shilpa and people didn't like that. Kitchen etiquettes is a different thing.

^^^i don't want to assume that it was just b/c he didn't like muslims, we don't know that for sure. so let's just state the obvious which is because we don't contaminate food that will be eaten by others regardless of religion or nationality. it's gross
and it's like that with how muslims see nonmuslims too sometimes. like there was a thread about how a muslim should tell a nonmuslim that they don't want to hug them in the life forum(???). it might be just b/c manoj uncle is used to how it was in the old days, where the man is served first and then the women eat and old world thinking similar to that.
seriously, even he saw how promiscuous veena was (that's the only word i could think of for some of the things she's done going from one guy to another). so it's not that any of them including veena are squeaky clean and pure. they all talk behind each others' backs. even salman kind of makes fun of her fake way of talking and overacting.
the word isn't racist b/c veena isn't some caucasian lady, the word is prejudice but i think in general most south asians have inherent prejudices in us. the pakistanis talk about indians being africans and hindus being some other prejudiced description, so the bigotry is plentiful in both countries.
the reason he does not like veena might not be because she's pakistani but b/c of the countless other things that she's done in the house that were very bold and very risque that a lot of people might not have liked along with her fakeness. anyways, who knows what his reasons are.

I've never seen a Tamil film either but I cam across a few pics of her and a few others on some saree website and thought 'wth??' Was shocked that someone would love to flaunt a huge belly and rolls of fat in a skimpy little saree..She was apparently a former Miss India contestant or finalist or something which just made it even more bizarre (dunno what size she was then tho)..
