I love Marina and her comic acts lol. The recent one where she does the whole 'Pooja' act was hilarious!

I know!! i know some families.... it took them ages to sponsor their better halves. and here hina, adeel and marina just got everything in a month. who is gonna pay for her tution? :S Mamo';s treatment was justtt tooooooo fast....it was more like he went to some Ajmeri baba... 7 days main tamam mushkiloon ka haal!
everythhing seems to happen in a month.... marina lost weight in a month.... mamo got cured in a month, hina got preggy in month, adeel and marina got married in a month.... and they were in US in a month. WOW!! kitna blessed month tha! :P
LOL SO true!! I didn't watch the last episode fully because it is starting to bore me now, but the story has gone 5 years forward and Hina still hasn't seen her kids. Talk about a bitter mom and even more bitter children if she ever gets to see them! I am not quite sure where this drama is headed. Wonder if Mehreen had the same issue while making it. It sort of has a very uncohesive storyline.
i think the point of this whole storyline is to show that all men are the same and no matter how nice, sweet, loving, honest a man is, the wife should never be completely dependent on him. hina's first husband was a jerk. now mamoo is turning into a posessive jerk because he finally got rid of his "weakness" n was able to have a kid, and even adeel (a younger, modern man) is showing his conservative side by not wanting marina to study or work and just start having kids cuz its been 5 yrs since marriage. I think the drama will ultimately compare the fates of hina (a dependent wife who will take time to finally become more strong willed and independent minded) and marina (who is already too stubborn, well educated, and independent minded) and how they deal with the men in their lives and the unfair treatment that most pakistani wives recieve from husbands.

It seems this topic has spurred a lot of debate! Am going to comment on Hina's reaction which I think is justified because it's about trust and not about the fact that he's impotent. She feels that if he hid something so important about himself, how can she trust him going forward. Also, she's coming from a very vulnerable phase herself and sometimes acts irrational as all human beings do. So do continue to see how the episodes unfold. Most characters in the serial are very layered and not written in a black and white manner.
Thanks for watching and contributing your thoughts. It's very helpful for Samira and myself, who live outside Pakistan and can't watch the episodes live or hear about them except on the internet.

well mehreen did warn us! this faisal character has done a 360 turn on hina, sounds more or less like her last husband, ordering her around, don't see any difference at all. the saddest part was watching her own mother and brother defending the husband and yelling at for being 'selfish'...emotionally blackmailing her with her new baby, conveniently forgetting she was already a mother of two and how she and those kids might be suffereing without each other. very sad episode :( i think that conversation with juggan about her being dependent on men all her life finally snapped her out of her daze, thank god!

^^ so the story is finally getting somewhere. I got bored with it and didn't really watch the past couple of episodes.
Her older kids are def. not going to accept her and blame her for everything. I am guessing that's how the play will end. Hopefully they'll show Hina's character come out stronger at the end instead of being the typical doormat type of wife.

wow men really are portrayed as the evil creatures here and what a contrast between hina's doormat character and marina's overly fiery one, two extremes...lets see how it turns out for them, i'm guessing neither will be a clear 'winner' in this.
hina should become strong like marina ...

I fail to understand why they always show kids growing up in the west, bad.. I don't know a single drama where they show kids here.. umm like us.. of course there are good ones too. Drugs.. seriously??!! Yeah I am sure some do.. but some in Pakistan do too..
Is this based on a novel?? Really need to change that mentality... sucks!
