Re: Valentine’s day

i celebrate valentine’s day in my own way like i wear red dress, eat lots of chocolates and go out with my family.:cheegum:

Re: Valentine's day

I like the flowers and chocolates and candle-lit dinner part...

I HATE the excessive hearts, heart-shaped balloons, white plush toys holding red hearts or any of the 'be mine' kachra! ulti

Re: Valentine's day

'observe' valentines day? nafl parh kay aur roza rakh kay ! such a sacred day cannot be spent doing something else.

Re: Valentine’s day

You women all seem to like this day hence I dislike it on principle :snooty:

Re: Valentine's day

I dont like it. Sucks

Re: Valentine’s day

that’s such a good idea, reminds me of how sex and the city is,all the women had such a special bond. i love that episode where all the four friends say “we can be each other’s soulmates”

Re: Valentine’s day

It was promoted by men in the hopes of getting laid. The saint whom the holiday is named after…was male.

I observe it all around me…but I don’t participate in it. I find some of the cards/decorations to be cute. Overall, there shouldn’t be just one single day (Valentines, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day etc) to show your loved ones how much they mean to you…it should be done more often.

Other thoughts: It annoys me when people say Valen"times" …there’s no “m” in the word.

Re: Valentine’s day

My best friends and I are soulmates…:naak:…I do not know what I would do without them.

Me too…do not get me started on this. Libary is a common one too.
