Im a little confuddled about this. Ive celebrated it before but dont know if it warrants luxurious gifts or anything.
Personally, I think its an excuse to get dolled up and do something fun together…which is alright by me!

Nope. I don't celebrate Valentine's Day.
I'll buy them flowers, presents or take them out for a day out or dinner without being told by THE MAN. Although I've taken advantage of offers and what not during that period :p

Why does there need to be a day for expressing love for your spouse or partner....
I think everyday spent in the company of ones beloved is to be treasured. Valentines day is ridiculous and I never got the meaning of it anyway... I will always buy new flowers or something cute every night I come home I bring something to capture my Maidens heart.. and it need not be a diamond, it's the thought that counts.
Besides one of my heroes was a Man who was a talented expert on flowers, he was also the among the finest and last of a line of Great Warriors.
