I am constantly surprised by people who on the one hand always criticize western traditions and values and on the other hand celebrate this day. I personally find the day a cheap tradition that seems to benefit no one but the greeting card industry. I think it's a waste of time and money and it cheapens the relationship between two people. People go through all this drama to show their other half how much they love them, why not do that everyday in moderation? Be considerate to your better half year round. This is the same as those people who only do charity work once a year. Do people really think that the poor wait to eat till the end of the year? Bah, i'm just on a tirade.
Moreover, for some reason, and this may just be me, I find it so cheap and chichora when a grown man receives a teddy bear with a heart, I mean come on, can it get any gayer than that?
