CM doesn't have a Valentine and that's why he's bored.
But the idea of sending a valentine to someone that otherwise may not be having such a good day was worthy of praise.

Secondly I take great offense to the fact that people would even think i participate in such a commercially contrieved event that is hell bent on sucking away my hard earned money.
Lastly do/did have a valentines. I was too busy to give her any attention...i wonder how that will play out this weekend.
My valentines day? At work at 9. Meeting from 10 to 1. Lunch. Meeting from 2 to 6. Walked home. 7 had dinner. Did a run of Scarlet Monastery. 10 - 12 finished off my report. Slept. All in all a fulfilling day.

I am constantly surprised by people who on the one hand always criticize western traditions and values and on the other hand celebrate this day. I personally find the day a cheap tradition that seems to benefit no one but the greeting card industry. I think it's a waste of time and money and it cheapens the relationship between two people. People go through all this drama to show their other half how much they love them, why not do that everyday in moderation? Be considerate to your better half year round. This is the same as those people who only do charity work once a year. Do people really think that the poor wait to eat till the end of the year? Bah, i'm just on a tirade.
Moreover, for some reason, and this may just be me, I find it so cheap and chichora when a grown man receives a teddy bear with a heart, I mean come on, can it get any gayer than that?

That or she just wants some and thinks this is the best way for the man to give her what she wants.
OR
She wants something expensive and feels if they have some “fun” it would be easier to manipulate the guy.

I don't want to contribute to the Hallmark corporation so I never give cards. It's a monopoly I tell you! This Valentines I cooked salaan for Aziz and gave Safia some chocolate but then what's new?! I got a rose and Safia got a rose from dad. It's silly to celebrate that day...who is St.Valentine anyways? And why does everything have to do with a bloody organ? A red heart. Does it represent love because your heart beats faster when are around someone you love, your heart skips a beat. Is that it?

So what if my hubby FORGOT its V-day and didnt get my anything, not even a measely little rose Or a card . I should do the same next V-day…oh and why not forget his b-day as well..grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
