problem is we are much more flexible regarding losing our identity that is in the name of liberalism.
do you think that amount of coverage given to easteran cultures and religious rituals by western media is same as our media gives coverage to western trends?
you would hardly see BBC’s coverage on muslims’ eid festival more than 5 five minute on whole.
no coverage for such festivals on thier local transmission lines. Our media transmision quality is way poor than quality of transmision of their local media.

We could have exploit the situation post 9/11 to promote soft and real image of Islam and Muslims, but we didn’t. majority of the material (if written for Islam) came from those western writers.
