well soubia u live in karachi thats very good, and u go to bazar too thats really very nice as well,but will u like to tell me one thing that “what the hell u girls think u r?” just tell me one thing what do u want to b, A showpeice,just a charm, or just some kind glamour thing.
u girl poses like hell, u put various stuff on your face (and not on your body definetely) in order to get attention from even three year old kid. And then u complain that u r being stared.
Do u wear hajab,do u wear burqa,try wearing it once and belive me nobody will ever give u a stare not even buddhas.
So my dear before blaiming others and getting so much confident u must c that what u really are.So if u will just try to accomodate your self with your roots(islamic roots) believe me u wont b having n e difficulteis.

aur problems does not happen out of no where...something makes them happen. weather is sexy part of body of a women or something else. If you go out there looking like you do...men will look at you with bad eyes...because YOU are not following the true islam<> So some you have to do... like put the dubatha where it belongs on the head and NOT in your gala. And where hijaab or cover your beautifull body when you go out in bazaar...because all the shetaans are in bazaar allways. (the worldly sheitaans and heavenly ones also.) :)
Women dont necessarily wear the clothes they do to get our attention............sometimes a woman sees a dress she likes........and thinks she will look beautiful in it.....so she buys it, and wears it. To a woman feeling beautiful is the top priority, and she will achieve this at any cost, despise what others around them say or feel. About 80% women dont wear these clothes to get our attention, they wear them because they feel beautiful in them. These are the facts, although im a man myself, i admit to our weakness of oogling at every woman, and no ladies remember as long as ur a woman, men will stare at you, its our nature, no matter what you wear, if u wear a burka, its just that men will stare less, but will stare, to try to imagine whats under the burka. So in closing i say, wear what you want, and just get used to the staring, and if possible try to benefit from it :))

i had a cousin when i was in karachi who told me how she gets abused while even wearing a chaddar (you know the kind that only leaves the eyes open and the rest of the body is inside the chaddar)
i didnt believe her she said ok try it so we two went together in the chaddar to tariq road and some of the comments that ppl whispered passing by were gut puking
one was '....burqay main kia chupa rakha hay...'
while dont even bring up men pinching ...i had the pleasure of taking a needle (soa that is used to stitch blankets) with me and they dared not turn around or say anything cause they knew how humiliated they would be :D
so summary is some ppl will stay dogs wether you dress in a burqa or not in one .....dont justify them by telling gals not to excercise their rights of looking modestly good
dont worry... we are working on getting a Taliban style govt in the land of pure. Then u can walk freely where you want. Men found guilty of staring at na mahram women will be given a whipping they wont forget for a lifetime.
just keep up the chadar wearing traditions. and teach ur own brothers fathers and husbands respect since they come from the same families too. Teach them how Islam appreciates not looking at a na-mahram woman twice. And how Islam ecourages not going to strip clubs where women take their clothes off and or drinking which makes one lose ones senses.

a revolution like Iran will also work. no woman is harrassed in public there... there is no one with balls to curse at women in public since the punishment for such a thing is "80 korray". But the restriction of wearing a burqa in public should be lifted since its not even forced in Islam.

Stop raising dust at eachother. I am a guy, but I admit that a percentage of men in Pakistan have sick brains and have no sharm. So they do stare at women like hungry beasts. I have seen masoom girls being the victim of their dirty eyes. However, all the women in Pakistan are not perfect either. There is also a proportion of women who are ignorant of the consequences of thier bepardaghee.
I do like to mention one thing. According to the Holy Quran, Allah said, " the thing that allures the man most is WOMAN" Therefore, it is a weekness in men to look at a woman. But it does not mean that we men are helpless. Actually, man is put to test his nafas. There are a lot of muslims who overcome this weekness but the rest don't.
