If clothes are in good condition, I give to my relative, else donate.

Yes... If I used them once in a while and short to me and looking new. I will offer them... and they take them....
I am also being offered by my siblings, if they are donating clothes.. they asked me to take if I want anything... (those clothes are not old....)

Sometime, my brother offers his good clothes to friends... They are all okay.

once i wore my uncles shirt when i was a kid...he didnt like it at all, gave it to me as a utran... :)

We usually give old clothes that are still in wearable condition to the maid (back home). These days relatives don't want the regular ghar ke kapray. If the dress is really expensive and worn once or twice, then younger cousins might take it. But relatives don't want your used everyday wear.
Other way to utilize old clothes is to re-deisgn them so for example, lehngas can be turned into long, flowy dresses that are in these days. Or a fancy dupatta can be turned into a shirt that can be worn with black trousers and shawl, etc.
Clothes that are too worn out are usually thrown out or like Ali said, used for dusting furniture or mopping the floor.

I am talking about party and formal clothes... those mostly look new and wearable....
