Re: Using bra as wallet
I was talking to an auntie and her mobile phone started to ring, she took it out of her bra and I was like ![]()
Re: Using bra as wallet
Hmm...but old ladies don't wear bras.
Also, excuse my ignorance but if you stashed money, a phone and an iPod in your bra surely it would be...ehem...somewhat unshapely?!
Re: Using bra as wallet
You can talk about it for 5 pages…and a video link , totally relevant to the topic…not violating any policy is removed???
I love your double standards ![]()
btw…i wonder if this thread constitutes Chaskaybaazi or not ![]()
Re: Using bra as wallet
Azadi-e-Niswa hay jaha marzi rakhay but what really doesnt look good at all is when some paindo women dont care at all who is standing around or looking at them but just put their hand in and start searching for Quid-e-Azam ki photo.
lets not talk about desi woman and switch the subject to walaiti women for a moment.
What about those who keep their cell phones in Bra ? :P
Re: Using bra as wallet
Completely agreed with you ![]()
Hum masoom bachoon per ilzam :halo:
Re: Using bra as wallet
No no, I do have a bra…car bra
I mean :khums:
who came up with that name?
Re: Using bra as wallet
I think, this thread should be closed. It is going towards chaskay bazi.
Re: Using bra as wallet
^ I agree. Conclusion: NO educated desi woman do this these days and the last generation of desi women can be forgiven for such an act. This is not the problem of our generation.
However, I now wonder after reading this thread, how and why did our naanis, daadis, chaachis and tayis scold and criticise us for not wearing dupattas the right way when they themselves had been doing such things in front of everybody. How could they always dantofy us? ![]()
Re: Using bra as wallet
dantofy
.
Re: Using bra as wallet
Yep I've seen it and I've seen the secret behind the coin keeping too ... When I was younger I used to spend time in a Sikh neighbours place when my folks were at work. There were just two of them a woman and her younger sister. Her younger sister was about six years my senior and she herself was like sort of about 15 years younger than my Dad.
She was quite buxom and I remember her sewing something which clearly was a pocket into the lining of her bra, with a click button.
What was funny was that every now and again they used to take us to Southall broadway and when she lunged in to pull out some cash the shopkeeper used to look down her cleavage until she pulled something out. From what I remember the cash was damp, but the shopkeeper didn't batter an eyelid ... I only remembered this after TLK mentioned it.
Now I'm thinking about it .... *I'm not sure where the pocket was ... either on a slip or on the outside of the bra ... I was too young I can't remember *...
Oooo yes, you remembered every single detail with such vividness but forgot that ... ahaan ..
Re: Using bra as wallet
Nomica, honestly dude, other than handful of people, I see no one doing chaskay baazi in this thread. Yes it may not be the real life problem, but a common practice of our society. If you or someone cannot discuss it without giggling like a 10 years old than its not other people’s fault. Haan
In my opinion, Car bra is the worst thing you can do to your car, but that is the topic of automotive forum.
Re: Using bra as wallet
Ashy, with due respect, this thought process always ticks me off. Somehow we assume that we are more wise, intelligent, sophisticated than the previous generation and when we do not adopt a practice, it was because it was wrong and previous gen should be forgiven for their mistakes.
This holier than thou mindset of this generation is the reason behind the ethical and moral downfall of this gen. Yes, we dont see women popping money out of their bra, but we do see half of their breasts popping out of their bra because of skimpy dressing. At least prev gen was not doing that, was it?
Re: Using bra as wallet
Nomi, to say something is one thing, but to actively demonstrate it is another.
Please stay on topic. We are all adults here. You know that I will be the first person to close a thread that is obnoxious. Thanks for your input. ![]()

I am NOT talking about girls who dress skimpily. I am talking about girls like me who used to get a lot of daant from our elders when we somehow couldn't manage to wear dupatta 'rightly' and didn't put dupatta on our heads when going out. Yes, I am serious, my cousins and I got so much daant for not wearing dupatta and chaddar rightly sometimes and I DO agree that such tarbiat has made us what we are today and I am proud of my morals which our elders have given us.
But when we compare us with our elders, I remember seeing my mom's and khalas' university time pics when they used to put their dupatta in neck, used to wear tighly fitted clothes etc. And I jokingly say to my mom, ap logon k zamanay main bhot liberal they sab, saari sakhtian humary hi liyey hain (I am not allowed to wear sleeveless, capris etc and I also don't like wearing them myself). The topic in this thread is just another example. What I think, its just that our naanis, daadis, chaachis and tayis had strict rules for us because we were young, growing and unmarried and perhaps they thought such rules are not for them because they are older and married. This is the only reason which comes to my mind.
Re: Using bra as wallet
I still think that your mom’s gen was much much better than your gen .. bas keh diya ![]()

Damnnnnn you got me ! :(
Re: Using bra as wallet
Maine kab kaha k we are better?
What we are today is all because of their tarbiat. If we are good, its because of them. If we are bad, its also because of them ![]()
