Used

Re: Used

^servants wash babies cloth nappies where people still use them, so what's the difference? there IS a protocol to follow if you are any kind of sensible human being. the towels (and nappies) are soaked immediately in a solution that removes most of the impurities, then it's just like washing any other clothes. only an imbecile would give them for washing without doing anything prior.

propagating the use of synthetic towels in 3rd world counties is not the solution.

^There is a big difference between baby cloth nappies & what we have been discussing. In certain circumstances you can even read namaz if a baby has urinated on your cloths. Where as with the other thing mentioned here, there is no such ruling.

The whole letting someone else wash such body impurities even if the towel as been rinsed before is beyond my understanding. Its cruel & thoughtless.

Re: Used

making them live next to a heap of garbage, most of which doesn’t decompose, including your thrown away sanitary towels is so much better :halo:

or you know, crazy thought, people could wash their own??
this is what women have done throughout history before the invention of disposable things.

it’s not some some alien fluid nor as disgusting and impure as you make out.

Actually it is as impure as I make it out to be & impurity is not my biggest concern but germs are.
But anyways. Yeah the crazy thought makes more sense. Wash it yourself if anything but just don't ask anyone else.

The first sentence that you wrote is kind of not relevant to what we were discussing. Khair :)

i think that u lack knowledge!!nobody in pakistan make their servants wash such dirty cloths!!who told u that?? one of my aunt told me that her servant never even washed her kids potty cloths...she (my aunt)wud remove the potty herself n wash it slighty then her maid will wash it with soap the major part was done by my aunt..in our society its vry embarrasing to let ur stained cloths be seen..so wat made u think tht ladies make their maids wash such dirty stuf??WHO TOLD U THAT?

Re: Used

So, you've been re-using the used napkins all these years???

Ewwww!!!

Are you sure you didn't develop some type of cancer or tumor or something?

Re: Used

^lets leave them some privacy ?

Re: Used

Aishaji, some of the info given to here is patently wrong. Yes of course it depends on your flow but on very hot days change the pad and/or tampon frequently like 2 hours. There is more chance of bacterial infection developing on hot days. If you want authoritatative info, go to Doctoroz.com and ask him.

Re: Used

See I had that bacterial infection in mind. Thanks Sarsaparilla.

What the freak????? Woman you didn't read everything in this thread I guess. Kindly reread it & then ask me such silly questions.

I don't need to write any names here but I am sure you can see who wrote what. So calm down.
