Used

Maybe the right forum for this and slightly on the embarrassing side.
So how many times should you change your sanitary napkin in day if on periods? and How do you dispose off the used ones? I am literally asking you people and asking you to tell me how to dispose them.

Re: Used

aisha ji itne saalon tak kya karrahi thien??! hehe neways...i read sumwhere tht sanitary napkin should be changed every 3-4 hrs to avoid infection...and use a paper bag and dispose all the used ones everyday along with the other garbage of your house

Re: Used

lol

Re: Used

yeah changing after 3-4 hours make sense....you can wrap the used pad in packaging[wrapper] of the new pad.

Re: Used

just change whenever you need to, depending on how heavy or light your period is. no hard and fast rules dear. did u get yours pretty recently?

Re: Used

LOL Plusha I have been doing quite fine itne salo’oun se :stuck_out_tongue: thanks much, just wanted to know what I was doing was fine or right :cb: Dramay baaz I am 21, I got mine for the first time at age 14. Long time ago!

Re: Used

aisha sab ut patang threads tumhare kiun hotay hain?

Re: Used

This is natural and a genuine concern, not a ult patang thread:smack:

You change it according to your flow. Could be anywhere from 1 hour to max. 4-5 hours or 8 when you are sleeping. To dispose them, you fold in the plastic/paper wrap they come in & then roll it with some toilet paper & garbage.

Re: Used

Yeh thanks binte for a mature sensible answer! thanks ! :)

that’s quite late.

Anything for you buddy :D But hey isn't that how many of us do it. I remember this lady once told me in old school days women used to make their own pads with towels & then wash & reuse them.

Re: Used

Yeh Hareem B if you want to know I grew in height late but yeh I grew taller than all my family members! Except dad who is 6 feet.

Well lol I never had those american style education, I studied in a Pakistani style school in my childhood days so don't know :p but yeh I guess lol!

Re: Used

are u bloody serious?

^ Yeah that’s what this lady in Pakistan told me. Oh & I have confirmed it with my mom too. She said maasis & women who belong to lower class still do it. Supposedly not everyone can afford it & if you dispose a bloodied pad that means men will get to see it too :smack: So wash & your blood & use it again. Disgusting & so full of germs.

Re: Used

No bint i believe u
i just dont believe how u can have ur period for 7 yeras and NOW ask what to do with the pads and stuff????

Re: Used

Call me conservative , but somethings really do not need to be advertised or asked publicly !

Is there a smiley for being well not entirely embarrassed but something close to that?

Re: Used

:o ?

Re: Used

Shouldn't you change every time you go to the bathroom?
