^ Yeah that’s what this lady in Pakistan told me. Oh & I have confirmed it with my mom too. She said maasis & women who belong to lower class still do it. Supposedly not everyone can afford it & if you dispose a bloodied pad that means men will get to see it too So wash & your blood & use it again. Disgusting & so full of germs.

everyone used to do that before the invention of pads, even the Victorians.
