One of the most contentious presidential elections in U.S. history—with the state of Ohio serving as a crucial swing state—comes to Case Western Reserve University on Tuesday, October 5, with the candidates for vice president squaring off on campus in a nationally televised debate. John Edwards, Democratic VP nominee and Dick Cheney, Republican Nominee will be presenting their case.
I personally think that given the potential of both candidates, this debate will be extremely interesting. However, based on historical evidences, the VP debates have no effect on election’s outcome. This debate will be crucial for John Edwards’s political career because he will be definitely running for white house either in 2008 or 2012. Whereas, Dick Cheney is obviously at the twilight of his political career. I am sure Hilary Clinton will be watching John Edwards with great interest.
And that brings us to the question… where the heck is John Edwards hiding. Has anyone seen him since the convention? To use Leno’s words “someone tell him that you don’t go to a ‘secret undisclosed location’ till you are actually elected as Vice President”.
My advanced apologies to those who are unfamiliar with Urdu language. Anyway, when I look at Cheney, the word that fits him best is "makkaar". And when I see Edwards, the word that most fit him is "puppoo". It will be like watching a wolf circuling around a cat.
Actually I think this debate will be much more fun, and much more rough and tumble. Don't underestimate Cheney, he can be quite witty and pointed. Edwards may be a trial lawyer, but he has be almost worthless on the campaign trail.
Prediction: there will be a lot more great sound bites from this debate.
(Thankfully they scheduled the fisrt Red Sox playoff game for 4pm, or I would not watch!--Go Sox)

makkar = cunning
puppoo= cute
waisay faisal, the wof circling the cat analogy reminds me that dont always go with what you see, because the reality could be very diff..
kinda like whena i see innocent looking civics or lancers with massively suped up engines destroy camaros and mustangs on the streets :)
its always great to have your competitor underestimate you and then decimate him when the show down takes place. Used that technique in sports all the time :)
I agree with Makkar thing.. :k: Another word that comes to mind is Kamina.
But for Edwards best work is Chakka !!!
Have you seen how much he uses his hand when he talks. So girly !!!
He will get lots of gay votes for Keryy but then which gay was not gonna vote for Kerry.
Dick better turn his pacemaker down so his oxygen levels are cut back otherwise Edwards is likely to excite the poor ******* so much he'll showoff his cranky stubborn side to much and the American public will be put off even more by the lug than they already are.
Dickhead Cheney wants 4 more years, but doctors gave him 2 more years. Go figure
1978 suffers a heart attack.
1984 suffers a heart attack.
1988 suffers a heart attack.
Aug 1988 undergoes quadruple heart bypass surgery
22 Nov 2000 suffers a heart attack.
It will be a battle of two big liars. One is a trial lawyer and the other is a corporate criminal.

Actually there is a good chance that he will suffer his last heart attack and die in front of millions of people. Yes I myself don’t make fun of anyones health condition but I feel no regret making fun of him. He can go to deepest level of hell as far I am concerned. Taking lives of 13000 plus Iraqis just to fill up his own pockets? I have no respect for that scum of the earth.
