Merc, if china wants to invade taiwan then why would it do it with hands tied behind its back? 
As for arrow, patirots etc, they haven’t been test in real time. US [and israel] don’t have a real missile defence system now [some say russia has one but that is speculation too]. If that was true, then israel wouldn’t be scared **** of iran’s missile program..
