yaaar, some peopel have done wonders for themselves withoug an education, and without steppign out of their cities/countries. Some have to do so.
I dunno maybe I am just used to crap that I saw in Uk, in saudi in pakistan and in US. maybe if i saw a palce where ppl did not get crap for their race, religion, ethnicity etc, then I would have a different take on it.
I am nto sayign taking crap is fine, I am saying when you make choices in life soemtimes you have to give some on one place to get some in a different aspect.
There is no statement of 'only in america' but that there are better opportunites in US. this I showed by innovation index and university rankings. Is that the only way? no, does it mean that soemone who goes to IBA will be less successful than soemone who goes to Kellogg or Wharton, no.
its just a question of better probability, and if someone is willing to sacrifice something to get better odds, why not.
I know desis who lived their entire lives building a future for their kids, slaving away in middle east where the policies did not allow them to bring their families over at all, or for years. big sacrifice, but they did it to improve the odds for their family and their kids. Could they ahve stayed in pakistan and done as well, definitely, but less likely. Thats all that I am saying
