I'd like to ask a question, leaving out - for just a moment - the US and whether they go in there or not. Do you all think that the situation up north is out of control? Do you agree with those who are trying to control the North (ie., the taleban)? And do you agree with or want the type of lifestyle that they impose upon the people?
The Pak army has been in there, there has been much fighting and much loss of civilian life. Whether the army is doing their best or not, it seems that they are losing the battle. Perhaps they WANT to lose the battle. If they (and the people of Pak) do NOT want to lose the battle, whats wrong with having the US (or any other country) assist in this endeavor?
sovereignty of a state might have to do soemthing with it. Secondly who will control the americans once they are there? Americans have a history of friendly fire and incorrect hits. Simply because i doubt any pakistani except perhaps saleem and m2k think Americans are going to give a damn about any casualties. Every nation has a right to deal with its problems and America need to butt out.
Pakistan needs to develop a spine however with the likes of zardari what are the chances of that?
