Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?
First, Bill Clinton is no liberal. He came back from presidential campaig. as Arkansas governor to execute a mentally challenged African American. He advocated the Three strikes law, pitting millions of African Americans in jail. To make matters worse he passed "welfare reform" He appointed Reuben and Larry Summers to top financial positions. He put Sister Sollouja under the bus to score points with whites. He put Long Guennear under the bus because rethugs opposed her. He mocked Obama as a coffee carrying person. He bombed the bees us out of Iraq during the sanctions time. Causing hundreds of thousands of children to die due to lack of access to medicine.
.By the way, attack dog is an expression. Though the dog description may be appropriate - cum to think of it.
how is your statement different than the scumbags on GOP presidential debate who said they cant wait to "kick the rear end " of man in WH? Thats a phrase too. O yea, one difference, they said it about current President you said about former.
I hope I and you stay on GS to see how the new President goes for war again no matter if its Sanders or Trump.
If you are POTUS, you gotto do what you gotto. Period.

Did you miss the statement about "attack dog" being an expression. I should have added it is an acceptable term to describe a political operative.
The bombing was ONE example to show he is not liberal. Looks like you have not gotten around to reading the rest of the reasons that show why labeling Clinton a liberal is nothing short of ridiculous.
And why are we discussing Period here. A tad sexist isn't it.
Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?
the dumb incidents in history repeat itself. in 2000, similar stuff was spread around on the forum about Joe Lieberman. muslims voted en masse for Bush. the next 8 years was some serious karma.
Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?
Ooo so you can generalize what “muslims” voted for..!! Yea thats some exception right?
Damn muslims who voted a GOP candidate to bring him in power.. How many were they btw? Err… those who have ever voted for GOP are hardly countable.
Pss… Before you jump the gun again I mentioned it that I dont have any problem with that and yes I exactly know how Jewish community works so I have no doubt its helping Sanders. Go figure.
Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?
muslims are pretty much easily motivated by such things. mention of jews, mention of israel. you dont think they voted en masse for Bush in 2000? perhaps you are too young to remember.
Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?
Queer, I agree i dont remember but let me tell something for which I'm sure about. Muslims are one of the most non-active minorities in this country's politics sadly. I've had this conversation with hundreds of people at different events. They dont even bother to get themselves enrolled in the voting list. All they say is something like, "hamare vote se kya farq parta hai" or "kya karna hai jee".. And those who are listed hardly step out. On the other side, my family is highly active so we are like in the odds and thats why I get frustrated.
Anyhow, back to your point, right now compared with Trump, muslims will take Jews happily. Especially when they have seen that those protested against Trump were mostly Jews.
As far as Sanders is concerned, I think he is a great candidate. But I dont think he has much clue of "how" he'll be doing wutever he is promising. Clinton is far more practical then him.

Even if "mass" muslims voted him, they make up mere 1% of US population. And Bush didn't win the electon, on people's vote count atleast so your point is quite invalid.
Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?
clinton may be practical, but practical doesnt go very far. sanders may not be able to achieve much but he will bring much needed diversity in ideology to the stagnant american mainstream - something to balance out the dumdums of the tea party who are already mainstream in many parts of the country from the looks of it. frankly, clinton isnt an exciting candidate. i'd like to see sanders at least raise awarness on big oil, big pharma, big agro, big defense, and all the other lobbies choking the country.

Bush won florida by a margin of 500 odd votes from the 6 million cast. and that was what got him the presidency. point is very much valid.
Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?
Queer is right about Muslims voting for Bush. Bush won with a very narrow margin. In fact Gore had more popular votes than Bush. It was electoral votes that made Bush president
Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?
What do the last two sentences mean? Why did you bring Jewish heritage of Sanders into the picture? Is that a dog whistle that I just heard? Stop - it’s hurtin my ear drums.
Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?
Your post reminds me of the joke that’s going around for the two candidates for London Mayor post. They say Sadiq Khan is a son of Pakistanis and Zac Goldsmith is the uncle of Pakistanis. Yeah Pakistani Londoners have a billionaire ‘Jewish’ uncle, lol.
Can’t say about American Muslims or older generation, but when it comes to a Muslim country like Pakistan, this whole BS Jewish card has completely lost its relevance in electoral politics, and it is the young Muslim generation which has put a decent stop to it.
*For those who don’t know - Zac Goldsmith is an ex brother in law of Imran Khan, hence the ‘uncle’ reference. *
