US Primary elections: Who are you rooting for?

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

Just dont complain when you or your fellas are stopped at airport or asked to go back :chai:

Had you studied the GOP candidates for 2016 closely you would have never said that.

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

I dont like this caucus system at all. How can a coin toss decide which candidate should be awarded the delegate? thats the stupidest thing i've ever seen. How disappointing for any candidate and thier followers to lose a delegate on coin toss? nuts

Nevertheless, it was just one caucus. New Hampshire is far more important. And so far both losing candidates in Iowa, Trump and Bernie, have a distinguished lead over their opponents

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

Bernie duh!!!

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

That is Iowa. But then, if it was up to me, the federal govt with state input and local offices would run the election.

We have amendments in the constitution that gave minorities and women the right to vote unlike that one 2nd amendment, so I wonder why no one makes a case for that? Florida would be another disaster in general election come November.

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

Being in a tie with Clinton is actually somewhat disappointing for Sanders. He should have won in Iowa, which has a large white population. He isnt expected to do well in states with a significant african-american population, so he kinda needed to win Iowa. He will probably win NH.

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

How is it a disappointment? He was nowhere near her till a week before caucus. Plus imagine had those three flip coins gone in his favor he had won it. He is 2 delegates less from Clinton in Iowa so if he wins with bigger margin in NH, he can cover up. I can sense its going to be a long run which is good.

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

Bernie

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

^ Hillary is expected to do quite well in states with a diverse population. Sanders need the momentum of victories. Iowa is a state he could (and some might say, should) have won.

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

And some say Bernie did win Iowa

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

Stopped at which airport and asked to go back where?

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

Well my point is, entire GOP roster and in particular Trump and Cruz are the top bigots american politics have ever seen. They are literally creating a history and even republican party establishment is sick of them. If you prefer them over clinton, just never ever complain about the extreme action they may be taking against muslims in US for wutever reason. And unless you convert, you'll likely be effected in some way.

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

Of course, the argument can be turned on its ahead - because the assumption that HRC has a better chance to beat the Rethugs than Sanders is based on hot air. Because poll results so many months in advance is USELESS. Much good the polls did when they projected HRC to be the automatic choice of the Democratic party.

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

The self proclaimed Moderate Hillary, who gets upset when reminded of her self proclamation and now claims to be a Progressive, has unleashed attack dog Bill Clinton. In the meantime her transcript of speech to GOLDMAN SACHS apparently reads like a GS board member. S hillary was also recently seen hugging Kissinger, who she respects for his acumen.

How about them Moderates.

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

Calling Bill Clinton a dog? ^^ Thats quite liberal of you Southie :chai:

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

While results still pouring in, Southie’s both favourites can safely be called victorious. Congrats!

Clinton called Sanders to concede the defeat so atleast noone can call her a crying woman atleast :chai:

El Sid good to hear from you in a long time. I thought I was in ur doghouse

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

First, Bill Clinton is no liberal. He came back from presidential campaig. as Arkansas governor to execute a mentally challenged African American. He advocated the Three strikes law, pitting millions of African Americans in jail. To make matters worse he passed “welfare reform” He appointed Reuben and Larry Summers to top financial positions. He put Sister Sollouja under the bus to score points with whites. He put Long Guennear under the bus because rethugs opposed her. He mocked Obama as a coffee carrying person. He bombed the bees us out of Iraq during the sanctions time. Causing hundreds of thousands of children to die due to lack of access to medicine.
.By the way, attack dog is an expression. Though the dog description may be appropriate - cum to think of it.

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

Trump and sanders won New Hampshire. I am dusty on my poli sci background. What does this mean? Is there any chance these guys WONT be the nominees for presidency ?

Don't they have to still caucus in other states ? Or NH was the swing state with the others being in their pockets?

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

Only 2 states done so far. The race has just begun. Long way to go.

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

Ok then why is everyone freaking out that he will probably be the nominee ?? Jeez. Calm down everyone.
