US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries..

It is high time that the world gets together and declare US as a terrorist state!

Unbelievable how they openly are advocating acts of terrorism all over the world and no one even takes notice. Just imagine what would happen if someone else from another country would have said something like this!

All hell would have broken lose and dozens of UN security counsel resolutions would have been passed!

I know there are going to be many here who will defend US in each and every action, but just think rationally before doing so. Thanks!

***WASHINGTON - Republican US presidential candidates have redoubled their public calls for “covert” operations against Iran and Syria, including sabotage, assassination and aid to opposition forces.
**
**Former House speaker Newt Gingrich, who has led the calls for secret war, told a gathering of party activists on Wednesday he would use “covert capability” to bring about “regime replacement” in Tehran.
**
**“They only have one very, very large refinery. I would be focused on how to covertly sabotage it every day,” he told the Republican Jewish Coalition, a group highly critical of President Barack Obama’s handling of ties to Israel.

**Gingrich said US policy towards Syria must be to “replace” President Bashar al-Assad and “do everything we can, indirectly and covertly – but without American forces – to help” the opposition topple his government.
Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, who recently lost to Gingrich the mantle of front-runner for the party’s nomination to take on Obama in November 2012, called for Washington to secretly help dissidents in Iran.
“We should also have covert and overt activities to encourage voices of dissent within the country. Ultimately regime change is what’s going to be necessary in that setting,” he told the group.

One of their long-shot rivals, former senator Rick Santorum, told the same audience he hoped US assets were behind a recent deadly explosion at a missile base in Iran and vowed to put the world on notice of secret US operations.
“We need to say very clearly that we will be conducting covert activity to do everything we can to stop their nuclear program. And that means using covert activity like may have occurred at the missile site,” he said.
“We need to be very clear: Any foreign scientists working in Iran on this nuclear program will be termed an enemy combatant and will be subject – like any other enemy combatant, like Osama bin Laden – to being taken out by the United States government as a threat to this country,” he said.
In the same breath, Santorum pointed to the May raid in Pakistan in which US commandos killed bin Laden to accuse Obama of “not being able to keep a secret of anything good that he did for even more than 24 hours.”
Gingrich proposed at a November 12 debate that Washington kill Iranian scientists and disrupt Tehran’s suspect nuclear program – “all of it covertly, all of it deniable.”

In that same forum, Santorum said the United States must do “whatever it takes to make sure” Iran does not develop a nuclear program – then wondered whether Washington may already be heavily involved in doing just that.
“There have been scientists turning up dead in Russia and in Iran. There have been computer viruses. There have been problems at their facility. I hope that the United States has been involved with that,” he said.
“I hope that we have been doing everything we can, covertly, to make sure that that program doesn’t proceed,” he said.

Texas Governor Rick Perry suggested at a November 22 debate that Washington had many ways to put pressure on Assad’s regime – “overt, covert, economic sanctions.”
“This is the time for us to use not only sanctions, but covert actions within Syria, to get regime change there,” said Romney.

“There are people in the military that are shifting over, that are becoming part of the rebel effort. We should support those efforts,” he added.
The pronouncements of the Republican presidential hopefuls have raised eyebrows among some career national security officials.
“The chances of success go down dramatically when you tell the world that is the major tool in your foreign policy bag of tricks,” one former senior official in Republican president George W. Bush’s White House told AFP.
The official said Bush’s team “took a lot of heat for keeping secrets.”

The official praised Obama’s “very strong national security team,” and urged Republicans not to view covert operations as “some kind of magic elixir that will cure all of the problems.”
“Yes, the Obama victory dance after the Bin Laden raid cost us the opportunity to take full advantage of the information gathered; but do you think it would have been different with a GOP administration? Please*,” said the official, who requested anonymity in order to speak candidly.

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

Of course america is the biggest terrorist nation every real muslim, many of the educated and fair minded non muslims also say this.

But to stop this blood thirsty US corporate monster you need the means to stand up to it and fight it and that requires unity of all the muslim nations as one with one united military. untill that happens the Americans will continue to kill and abuse us whenever they want.

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

Absolutely incorrect. you cannot equate the violence used by a robber and that used by the police.

If you say America must be lot more careful in how it prosecutes the war on terror I agree. We should do more to prevent collateral damage such as on civilians.

The problem of such collateral damage (some cases of drone bombings for example) was because of the Pak military doublecross. If ISI was truthful in its dealings with NATO there wouldn't have been a need for most of the drone operations. If ISI/Pak military had not flown the terrorists out of tora bora, the WOT would have been finished six/seven years ago!

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

CIA and the US administration is actually comprised of war criminals and always have been. If we look at their history, they have always been looters and killers, right from the dacoit Columbus who discovered the states till today. They have wiped out millions of indigenous red indians, threw atom bombs on Japan, butchered hundreds of thousands of people on Vietnam and Columbia, hundreds of thousands in Iraq and Afghanistan and the list goes on.

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

America is involved in the most state terrorism around the world but let's not pretend that other countries don't do this. The difference is that America claims to be "the land of the free", so the hypocrisy of intervening in the middle east and then claiming to stand for self determination pisses people off.

And this is not new. They faked the attack on the US carrier that launched them into Vietnam. They were considering planning an attack on American citizens and then claiming that Cuba did it to have a reason to invade Cuba. They had the democratically elected president of Iran assassinated in 1953 because he was going to nationalize the oil. The CIA was given $1 million, which is $10 million today, to kill the guy, and it was an open order. They wanted him gone, whatever was possible. You don't get to the top and stay there without being dirty.

Basically, this is old news. America is turning into a police state. They're trying to pass a law that would allow any US citizen they consider to be a terrorist to be captured by the military and be tried in a military court. Actually it would just be a hearing and the military could hold them as long as they wished, totally bypassing the civilian justice system.

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

exactly correct, the Amercan terrorist governments has the most blood thirsty history even hitler cannot compete with the amount of children and people the US administrations have killed.

but it will only stop when the muslims wake up from their coma unite as one and kick this yankee terrorist out of their land for good.

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

It is precisely this attitude of wanton ignorance of ISI's terrorist activities and creating conspiracy theories every time a crisis occurs that has held Pakistan down from developing into anything other than current regressive state. People like rommel, snowy_winter, ghost etc should wake up soon to the reality.

just look at the big picture over the decades.

Pak ISI pursued gorilla proxy war in India thry cross border terrorism. Kashmir is more integrated into India today than ever before.

Pak tried to build a weapons program network using nuclear proliferation as the currency. Today their clients N.Korea is making deals with the US while Pakistan is getting intensified sanctions. EVen the Libyans made the deal !

Pak doublecross culminating in the OBL capture is too recent and you couldn't have forgotten that.

The point is, before jumping to blame India, Israel, USA, UK or whatever you should think about these tactics and their dismal failure in the past.

Look at what has happened to your country even though for decades you were aligned with the foremost world power the USA! Now you have managed to turn them into an enemy.

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

Calling for assassination of foreign leaders, exploding bombs to kill people and sabotage national assets, encourage and finance other outfits to do the same ... all amount to promoting terrorism.

Or do you have another definition of terrorism?

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

[QUOTE]

i think you are finding another definition for terrorism and forgetting your ISI

what do you think about your own I.S.I. ? which of the above acts of terrorism has not been done by ISI in afghanistan and india ? bringing down elected govt.killing bhutto in pakistan ,killing journlists , plotting against nawaj sharif in pakistan are few examples, why you bother about america and cia when mother of terror in south asian subcontinent is your own ISI.

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

throughout the history and even today muslims killed muslims ,are killing muslims alongwith other religionists , they can not unite as one unit because of many types of islamic sects which are busy in giving fatwa for wajibul-quatl for one another. just read news papers of pakistan you will find many firqas giving fatwa against one another. what do you expect from them ? ghajawa a hind ?

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

Do not derail the thread Indik.

US calls itself champions of human rights, most democratic, most civilized country and greatest force to fight terrorism around the world.

Now my question is, if the leading candidates and many many other ones are promoting terrorism in other countries this openly, why are there no protests? Why the laws that exist in that country are NOT being applied to those promoting terrorism that openly?

If you want to discuss ISI or Indian support of cross border terrorism, start another thread about it. Not everything in this world is Pakistan-India centric.

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

Posts are not meant to be robotic - somethimes related topics seep in. Been noticing a trend where you ask posters to not post in this thread, go to another thread, or post in your own country etc.

Fleixibility is good - dont be so rigid. IMO

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

^^ The very concept of forums, subforums and threads etc is to bring some order in the discussion. Now if you start discussing wedding plans of Atal Bihari Vajpai on "Pakistan Affairs" section, that will only bring chaos.

Back to topic....

I think USA has become a safe haven for terrorists, they are gathering not only those terrorists wanted by many govt. around the world for mass murder but also their leading presidential candidates are openly encouraging and promoting terrorism around the world!

Time for world to get together and declare this country a terrorist state!

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

The point to close your eyes to Terrorism of other agencies and only point to ISI is typical of Indians. So nothing new there. Time for people like you to stop riding on American tails to pursue your anti Pakistan agenda, the very "friend" you so love now a days can come and bite you tomorrow. Remember that. America has NEVER been a sincere friend of anyone (bar Israel), never will be. Tell me which agency has not got involved in supporting armed insurgency in other countries to further their own agenda. CIA and RAW come to mind rapidly. Kashmir is integrated in India, hold a referendum there under neutral forces and you will see. I don't want to derail the thread but just to point to you that is how you ride on American tailcoats, show your hidden agenda under the guise of your so called support for the American forces. People like you have a different agenda and just come here to troll.

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

Ouch! This is gona hurt... you putting their massa on spot... :)

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

Saddam Hussein gassed thousands of citizens and invaded Kuwait - do you object to call for his assassination?
Did USA or India explode bombs to kill people? When, where?

Please elaborate with examples

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

1) India does not have to and never ride any coat tails. Just look up the history of India's voting record in the UN. (and while doing that will you surprised to find how much proof exists therein for Pakistan's coat-tail rides? search on Iran or Palestine for examle)

2) America or ANYOTHER country is only a friend of itself. Including Pakistan, they all pursue their own national interests.

3) When I charge ISI with these crimes and double-cross it is based on admitted facts and evidence. When you accuse RAW, what do you base that on, other than the thwarted logic of "they must be up to something"

I responded to falsehoods. How can you call that trolling or anti-Pakistani agenda?

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

India's record of voting in UN, yeah on Russian orders. Wake up and see the reality.

Doesnt matter what you charge ISI with, your charge doesn't mean anything. As for RAW yeah you are right they are the most honest straight forward agency in the world. They are still learning the spelling of the word espionage, regardless of what they are doing in Afghanistan and Baluchistan.

You don't respond to falsehoods you come here to show your bias against Pakistan and yes ride on the American tailcoats.

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

If you take your head out of the sand, you will find thousands of examples of US terrorism starting from Latin America, Middle East, Africa and everywhere around the world.

PS. And again, as much as you wish your country India be considered important by talking about her in the same breath as US, you are still light years away from being second world, let alone the first.

So focus on the topic at hand.

Re: US presidential candidates openly promote acts of terrorism in foreign countries.

@ehsan - again all you have is the tired old generalities I hear from many who don't bother to get their aspirational beliefs informed by facts. NAM, voting record on Iran & Palestine etc are obviously inconvenient to remember. Similarly remarks such as "oh yeah - RAW doesn't know..." is meaningless rhetoric . If you have some fact to base your comments on RAW let's hear it. I don't know how old or young you are but facts are important before you come to conclusions and on top of that accuse me of agenda and trolling.

BTW I will have no qualms to admit my mistake if you show me some reasonable fact. I grant that every spy agency spies and that includes CIA, RAW and Mossad. But to blame every illness and bombing and separatist attack and taleban etc on outsiders is plain wrong. And even if RAW wants to do something like that, I very very much doubt if they have the means - smarts, resources, technology & discipline- to do all that.

@achterbahn - as much as it may burn you up, India has always been and continues to be quite important. Don't take that as any reflection on Pakistan, which is quite important too. The reason I mention USA, India and Israel together in this thread is only because you & others have a habit of blaming RAW, Mossad & CIA for all the ills brought onto Pakistan by its own agency called ISI. If you don''t make that mistake, I wouldn't have to correct it
