US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

America has just been extracting its pound of flesh for supporting Pakistan during its first 40 or so years of existence. It might be a mess created by Americans, but Pakistan still needs to deal with it for its own survival.

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

good ideas :k:

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

It is true that USA has not planned or executed the WOT to a perfect script but I don't understand how so many Pakistanis can claim this is not their war. If it is not Pakistan's war why did they get into it?

if the only answer is 'because Bush made a deal with Musharaf that he cannot refuse', then the question becomes why did Bush do that?

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

:smack: when will the americans learn! ! !

Pakistani government and “plan” LOL these two dont come together

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

It seems to me that there is no will on part of civilian or military government to fight Taleban.

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

This is America's war not pakistans war, its a fact america are getting a beating in afghanistan and its convenient to blame pakistan as not doing enough or pushing pakistan to do the fighting typical signs of a coward who is scared and giving up the fight!

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

Let's say you have a pest infestation in your house. You don't take care of the problem, so it starts affecting the other houses. So the township sends in exterminators to your house. Now, is this your problem or the exterminator's problem?

your house = Pakistan
exterminaator = NATO/US
pests = terrorists
neighborhood = world

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

So who was it that helped plan and formulate the present Pakistani Govt (an incapable lot), and the previous ones for that matter? Where was there esteemed 'plan' then? You cant expect things from people with severely limited intelligence; people like Rahman Malik etc.

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

You have a disease in the body, how did you get it from the virus called America this virus is making complete chaos and destruction to the body in order to get rid of this disease you need to completly remove the disease so it never comes back.

body = afghanistan/pakistan
doctors = muslim mujahideen and pak army
disease = America as NATO
result = once ejected disease dies.

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

^ this is so incorrect!
body cannot be Pak + Afghanistan. Pakistan has been seeking ‘strategic depth’ in Afghanistan. Afghans will consider that a parasitic wish.
America or NATO are the ones funding Pakistan - how can you call the entity that is keeping the ‘body’ alive the disease?

:rotfl:

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

Ah! NoKo & Nam comes to mind, they are quite peaceful since, I wonder why and what happened :)

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

It may not have been our war 10 years ago but now it certainly is our war. Even if americans leave Taliban will not stop their attacks against Pakistan.

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

The ideology behind taliban is a cancer and needs to be wiped out. ISI should put its creative mind to use to have a new pro-Pakistan coalition in afghan government.

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

a sane voice!!!

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

hahaha... and ofcourse with all the planning and resources, americans have achieved fantastic results.

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

What plan do Americans have they are being defeated by those people who dont have even proper shoes to wear sometimes and still they cant fight them than why the hell they call themselves super power

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

America and his touts are the real cancer which needs to be wiped out

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

The US went to Afghanistan to eliminate terror networks and to help bring peace and stability to the region, and we accept full responsibility for the success or failure of the mission. Taliban rested over the winter. International Security and Assistance Forces (ISAF) did not. It is known that Taliban will find many of their leaders and soldiers buried, in jail or reconciled with the government. It is known that Taliban will find that ISAF moved in to areas formerly under their control while they were on vacation. It is known that Taliban are no longer in the hearts of Afghans who do not like being ruled by fear. Dear readers, does not the author’s claim that ISAF is “getting a beating” fail to separate truth from conspiracy theory, or to recognize fact from fiction?

Here you can watch how US forces have taken the control from the Taliban in Marjah.

Here you can watch Afghan and ISAF troops drive the Taliban out of districts surrounding Kandahar.

Re: US: Pakistan Lacks Plan to Defeat Taliban

So what exactly is YOUR plan to protect the country that has sacrificed so bloody much for this war against terror that the US of A initiated? You either don’t have a plan (since none of your citizens are getting bombed at every single day so why would you care!) or the plan surely isn’t working. Why should Pakistan do all the dirty work and then get criticised for not trying hard enough and accused of “playing both sides”?! If that wasn’t enough, ye send over some CIA loonies to kill even more! :rolleyes: Plan my ask!
