it’s the amount everyone pays for all that food you eat :D. By everyone, I mean the head of all the families visiting. Some people (esp in villages or small cities) even write the amout for each family. This “covers” all the expenses the person spent on his OWN wedding

Hmmmmmm perhaps I never paid attention during the wedding times but then again, it’s none of my business I did see the elders giving more money but I THOUGHT that it’s because they want to be generous
