Look even americans are saying that the US is becoming more a police state based on racial/religious profiling. That is the truth. I see this as a decline of the Liberties and ideals the US has always championed and stood for. Thus a decline. Plus who said the decline would end soon. It took the Ottoman epmires a century or 2 to break up etc etc. You get the idea.
We had that discussion before. I stated that the US is successful in attracting these people because of big bucks. But like i pointed out all the education and expertise was learnt in western europe. We could derail the subject and discuss how many Nobel winners were purely american. But you and i both know many were russians or germans or other europeans given US nationality.
Lastly about Canada i dont care. Am i american? Am i canadian? I see this part of the discussion as stupid as conversations in Cafe.
