Urdu Words

I am drafting a document in English that will eventually be translated into Urdu in Pakistan. I have some english words, which i dont know the Urdu word for, can some one please tell me the Urdu word for the following:

  1. Ideology
  2. Social
  3. Networks
  4. Groups
  5. Sort (as in ‘Anything of the sort’)
  6. Revoke
  7. Society

I think I have some more, but cannot remember them all ill post later. As you probably can see, my Urdu isnt good at all!

Samaaj is a Hindi word, not an urdu word. :)

  4. Groups - giroh
  5. Sort (as in 'Anything of the sort') - us tarha key?
  6. Revoke - farigh

i think spock's translation is correct except for two words....

social = muasharti
revoke = isn't coming to me at the moment :D

  3. Networks - Jaal, Khatoot (but that still doesnt make sense) Net means Jaal What does Web means Jaala?
  4. Groups - Kabeela (group of people) Kabeelay (groups of people) Karwaan (group of travelers).
  5. Sort (as in 'Anything of the sort') - Binnah (Kissi cheeze ki binnah per)
  6. Revoke - koi cheeze wapis layna, ya phir kissi ko wapis bulana. So the word close to Revoke would be WAPIS LIA, or, BULAYA. Mansuub, Mustarat also could be related.
  7. Society - Awaam

social=samaji ,used both in hindi/urdu

Samaji is hindi. not urdu. =)

Mashra is urdu.

So society = Mashra
so Social would be = Mashratan.

Adeel pai , no offence , samaj origin would be hindi but

Social worker = Samaji Karkun is the very common word used in Urdu and i have never heard word Mashratan :)
