Oh and one thing I noticed, Karachi people think that urdu language belongs to them. They are the ones that can speak urdu language properly and no one else can. That is so weird. Have they ever heard people from Lucknow speak urdu? I think that is the most purest form of urdu that is there. Urdu in Pakistan has been diluted and mixed. It is not longer the pure urdu that people used to speak. It is becoming slang urdu. There is a huge difference between the urdu written in novels in the olden times and the urdu used now.
I am proud that I am originally from Pakistan and I can speak both Urdu AND Punjabi fluently.
