in theory your right
in practise your wrong. punjabi has spread into seraiki and neighbouring hindko and potohari areas. pashtu has been adopted by urban peshawari and kohati and also spread into kohistan. hinndko is wiping out pashtu in the hazara areas and also spreading furter into kohistan. seraiki is spreading west encroaching on khetrani, a dialect of seraiki sindhi poses a threat to remaining balochi speakers in sindh and other languages such as thari, kuchi
if the 6 major languages are strengthened it will be the minority languages which will face the axe. i haveno idea why sindhi pashtun seraiki balochi nationalists complain the most about threats to language when these languages wont be the ones who will suffer
Right now, all of them face the axe, so something is better than nothing. Plus, we can always go by districts when making the choice on what language to introduce into the curriculum and the district level govt. Theres a reason why we have the zilah/tahsil boundaries.
