Re: Urdu is the same as Hindi [SPLIT FROM: Making Arabic our National Language]
This intelligent arguement started by these fake personas who are not even sure about their own identity but so passionately keep saying over and over again that they know who others are and what others' is amusing me now.
Someone needs to tell them to first decide. Once they manage to find that out, probably they will also have the credibility to tell others about themselves and about their things.
Now the little scrub has also claimed to be a pakistani. Notice what reverse mentality they're using to polute our minds? Becareful all of you, I warn you of them. Do not trust what they tell you about themselves. They do not belong to Pakistan. they're here only to reach some objective. Do not let them fool you.
Re: Urdu is the same as Hindi [SPLIT FROM: Making Arabic our National Language]
LOD you are not urdu speaker so cannot distinguish the differences in Hindi and Urdu.
Same is true for foreigners who even write books stating these languages are same.
Thousands of words and grammatic rules differ in both languages such that for an Urdu speaking person hindi really a different language.
Now what you are seeing is some sort of mixture of 'few' words due to the media but really the languages are quite different.
Both urdu and hindi have literary and street versions for general people to use these languages in day to day life but when we talk about the languages, they still remain quite different despite having street version.
What poets say in both languages are very different as well.
Yes there are some common features in both languages but it is due to the people trying to find common words to converse with each other.
Anyway, how would you know the difference? You must know Urdu before you can differentiate.
Try watching 'hindi' movies.....mostly not available or popular in Pakistan.
On the other hand culture and religeon OR language and religeon are different from each other.
It must be a joke trying to impose Arabic as national language in Pakistan. Only reason I would want to learn it since Quran is in Arabic and thats all.
Finally, Thanks to Urdu for keeping Pakistan together due to its versatile nature and 'sponge-like' property. It has the sweetness just add to its beauty.
Other sweet languages are persian, arabic and french, by the way which I cannot understand but good to hear.
This I have to agree with. Sanskrit was born in what is today Pakistan long before Pakistan was born. In fact many of the references in hindu scriptures make sense only in the geographical context of Pakistan and not what is today India. W**hat most Pakistanis do not know is that 80% words in urdu come from sanskrit and not arabic or persian. **Neither should you be ashamed of it. After all sanskrit was born in Pakistan.
Re: Urdu is the same as Hindi [SPLIT FROM: Making Arabic our National Language]
False. Most of the basic urdu words and verbs come from sanskrit. Most of the emotive words comes from persian. Khana, pina, mootna, baithana, sona, rona, hasna, chodna, choomna, bahomen lena, pyar karna, jahan nahi chaihiye wahan haath lagana, all the basic verbs are from sanskrit. This obviously does not fit in with your anti-India bias, but truth is truth.
Re: Urdu is the same as Hindi [SPLIT FROM: Making Arabic our National Language]
What an absolute jerk. Half of those words are NOWHERE to be found in sanskrit. The bharti-hate-filled-wannabe-Einteins that post with such verve on these forums …
Just for starters, take "bahoN mein lena " which he mentions in one of his list. That “N” sound is NOWHERE to be found in sanskrit alphabet, whatever that is. What a total ANTI-PAK TROLL!
