This is the update on the hunt (Lahore MUA). My budget is Rs.30,000 (without pre-bridal if not in package) max. I don’t know when I’ll finally decide it 
**AlleNora - Nope! **
Assembly line bride option scares me but I’ve started to consider, finding no other options. I am not too much of a fan of their eye highlighters & lipsticks & sometimes the base is a little pale. So not too keen on them.
**Mariam Khawaja - Nope! **
Although I like her, i dropped her option because of her ever increasing prices
**Samira Umer - Not sure! **
I got my nikkah makeup from her already. She was good. She kept it very natural & light as I wanted. The eyes were good but they didn’t show in the pics which means by the end of the event the glitter had lightened up pretty much. But every one said I looked my age & nothign overdone. But for now, I am unsure if i can trust her with my main day makeup specially when i am so touchy about it. She is relatively new in that aspect with not many barat makeuo brides.
Madeehas - Not sure!
I have always liked their eye makeup - they are probably THE best at it after Ather Shahzad. The only thing that makes me think twice is the assembly line concept, 60 brides in a row and no individual attention. Plus, the look of all brides is usually same. So i am still unsure. I am going to take a look at more pictures so as to decide it.I’ll probably go for Siffat if i do go for Madeeha’s.
Sabz - Not sure!
I know they have been doing an outstanding job in Karachi, every other person talks of their services. They have recently opened their outlet in Lahore. This is what I am confused of. Their setup here is very new & I don’t know if any of these MUA are the ones from Karachi or these are newly hired inexperienced ones. I’ll probably have to visit to get a better know how of their working here.
Maram & Aabroo - Nope!
I went to them and actually liked their pictures but I’ve learnt from sources that its the photography by Aabroo that makes the pictures look so good when in fact the bride’s makeup in itself isnt that good. My friend, who is also getting married near my dates, is also on a MUA hunt & she came across photographers like Irfan Ahsen, Shahnawaz etc. and they all recommended that do not go to Maram for makeup, it isnt that worthy at all. They see brides from them all the time. They recommended Arsh from Newlook or Siffat from Madeehas over them.

Newlook (Arsh) - Nope!**
I went to the salon & the pics framed there were a total no no for me. The lipstick in some pics was copper gold & that to me suits no one and to put that on a bride on her main day. Plus, the base was too much for me. The eyes were done well. But i love their pre-bridal services specially facials so i’ll be going there for facials definitely, Insha Allah.

Not an option I am considering for the entire makeup at all.
Uzma’s defence (y block) - Nope!
I got my engagement makeup from her for a trial on how it turns out. It was natural looking but my eyes weren’t well done. They didn’t stand out at all, in fact I ended up with CHinese looking eyes. The base was normal as well. So they are not an option anymore.
