how often does it happen to you???

you are discussing something else…the 3rd person doesn’t have a clue what you are discussing…but they will drop their turds of wisdom regardless…:mad:

does it happen to you?

have you indulged in it? advising someone who didn’t ask or wasn’t willing to listen at all…

Turds of wisdom, Lol i lyyyk. and yes it happened to me n my fam in Pak a lot and annoyed us no end, but now that we're back in the UK tho, its stopped. :) hurrah!

I've had someone do a Dr Phil on me once..."it sounds like blah blah blah"

All I said was "it doesn't sound like anything because I am not leaving anything to be interpreted here...thanks for the invaluable advice"

dr.phils are so annoying......sheesh........

if someone bugs you to unload ur advice dumpster....by all means go for it......
someone didn't ask........why on earth would u have an urge go around dropping ur wisdom everywhere??

I do advice my siblings, even if they don't ask me.
With other people, i don't.

And it happens to me sometimes, and i don't always mind it. It depends on the nature of the advice actually.

completely agree

the bottom line is to do the right thing, sometimes we are angry/pissed off/sad or some attitude issue and we dont want to hear any advice even if it for our own good - we disregard it right away

One fine afternoon a gentleman was walking down the street; and as he came around the corner he spotted a young boy sitting in front of the local candy shop. As he approached, he realized it was his neighbor's kid - Little Johnny.
The boy was shoving sweet tarts and chocolate bars down his throat as fast as possible, so much that it prompted the man to offer some advice: "You know, Johnny, it's not healthy to eat all that candy."
Little Johnny looks up at him and quickly retorts "You know, my grampa lived to be 96 years old."
