Until and Unless

So I tell my son that we use until and unless because we are FOBs , and there is such thing in the world as FOBI version of English called FOBlish ?

All his tiny life I have been telling him that FOBs speak British English which is superior to US English. Now I have to take that stance back. I do not feel like doing that , give me some other logical answer people, this answer is not going to fly . You know my kids are smarter than that.

Tell the kids, they need to wait ‘until and unless’ you know the right answer
