I agree. Imran is pretty straightforward, and in being so, he makes statements that are not always politically correct. And that is one thing that his opponents chide him for as well…that he doesnt have the political acumen needed to ‘reconcile’, ‘cooperate’ etc. I personally feel that he needs to reduce his air time and put other faces forward for daily stuff…and he himself should come out only for major press conferences or interviews. His honesty and candidness doesnt fit well with Pak politics.

I agree, i do not doubt his honesty and sincerity at all. As for your point about opponents taking chides at him for that, that is the nature of the business. It is a simple little thing that he needs to do i.e. like you suggested cut down on the air time. And you put up a good point for him to have other folks (possibly the younger PTI brass) on air more often because let’s face it, PTI’s ‘future’ is not Imran Khan… it’s younger folks like Asad Umar (I feel like he handles air time very well btw) who will be the face of the future PTI. The more exposure they get, the better prepared the party is (right now it’s still in a phase where if Imran retires or goes away, the party is not viable).
