They might have clarified, the problem is that the statements coming out in the press speak a little different picture. I will give you a couple of examples (see below). He was trying to make a point here, but as a leading politician he needs to choose his words very carefully and perhaps even suppress them because to most people these do appear to sound like he is siding with them.

I agree. Imran is pretty straightforward, and in being so, he makes statements that are not always politically correct. And that is one thing that his opponents chide him for as well…that he doesnt have the political acumen needed to ‘reconcile’, ‘cooperate’ etc. I personally feel that he needs to reduce his air time and put other faces forward for daily stuff…and he himself should come out only for major press conferences or interviews. His honesty and candidness doesnt fit well with Pak politics.
