For Iphone 4, make sure you dont upgrade your iOS from version 4. You need to order a gevey sim that you can buy from Amazon. Iphone process is dead simple.
For older phones, its a little involved process but not difficult. I will post the tutorial if you want to

I’m not jealous of your HTC. I miss my Google android’s keypad…it was brilliant. That was my biggest issue when switching over to the iPhone. But I got used to it in like ummm 1 hour. Those were good days…these are greater. Sorry :bummer:.

Its been ages since I’ve been wanting to adjust to a non qwerty phone but been a total fail all along. I remember back in the day I bought an HTC HD1 just because of the unnoticeable hype surrounding non qwerty touch phones, but in no time was forced to switch back to an outdated HTC touch Pro2 just because of it having the keypad. Had to let the HD go with 25% depreciation on a pretty much brand new phone. Bummer

Just buy an android tablet/phone with no need for unlocking. How many hours will you spend hacking your ipad/phone?

and who told you that android phone does not need unlokcing. All phones in USA are locked by carriers and you need to unlock them to use with another carrier.

Besides, Androids need time to be perfectionised. Too many bugs, compatibility issues so to speak. Personally, wouldn’t rule them out just as yet though. Some aspects/features indeed look neat.

My humble opinion is that any open source software can never achieve perfection or near perfection. Too many cooks spoil the broth, as they say. Look at Linux. In spite of being free and open source (or because of being free and open source), it could never achieve the sophistication/demand that windows or OS X got.

First please look up the difference between jailbreak and unlock, then we can most of the phones sold in u.s. are carrier locked. So u need to unlock me. With android u have to the same thing like jailbreak but it’s called rooting
