Once you JB it then you just run this little utility to unlock it. As Exodus said you may need to modify the plist (config) for the setting a bit (not sure) and you’d be set.

We should have a Facetime meeting for GS. What do you say? Let’s get everyone connected. There’s another app called Tango which is avaiable for other platforms too. Who’s up for it?

^ STA , 4S uses A5 and it cannot be jailbroken yet. comex did pdf-exploit the ipad2 with A5 but they closed down the hole.

TLK, so you unlocked your 4 with gevey tray, but did you jb aswell? once you have jailbroken it, you can pretty much get it to do what ever you want, like make videos apps work on 3g that require wifi , customize your skype and loads of other things.

Its also jialbroken. How do I know that? Cause it has Cydia loaded

OK I seriously need to figure out how to activate facetime. I am not interestd in buying MyWi as I heard that you need that for facetime to work.

settings (scroll down … ) > Facetime > turn **ON

**if you wanna use facetime on 3G and not wifi, then go to cydia add this repo http://www.sinfuliphonerepo.com and then install “Facebreab cracked”, then u will be able to do facetime over 3G aswell.

But for wifi , just turn it on from settings, doesn’t it work?

ok TLK, mai ziyada chawlain nahi maroonga, but your best hope is now google, because I have never tried those mentioned methods for facetiming on gevey.

Did you follow the steps Exodus posted? Quite a few ppl saying that method works.

Do you have 3G ? if yes try installing facebreak, u can always use 3G for facetime then. what exact ios are u on.

Tmobile 3G does not work on Iphones so my Data Plan works on EDGE. I will try Exodus method. :k:

Yeps do that, warna check those threads in google, there are also many other ways, but none of them are 100% guaranteed.

TLK, is your Facetime on the iPHone4 working on Wifi? Technically its not supposed to work over 3g in the first place. So when you JB the device u can installl My3g (http://www.intelliborn.com/my3g.html) and Voila.

So do this one step at a time:

1. Try FT over wifi
2. Try Tango over wifi
3. Try Tango over 3g
4. Then try FT over 3g and see the results. (you’d need this My3g for all the apps that are not designed for 3g)
