i was asked my father to see a rishta myself, went there, meet the parents, had intro discussion, they asked the girl to come and have dinner with us. ... parents embarrassed as she declared loudly she aint coming downstairs, may be because she liked somone else or didnt like the idea of arranged marriages. parents excused and said thanks :) !
