no argument about that, there needs to be comprehensive reform allowing for temporary worker visas.
But this case is different, they came here on a temporary visa, it was already extended based on humanitarian grounds. There is no precedence now.
so, even with immigration reforms if there is temporary work visas, and ppl on those visas refuse to go back after their visa term or work contract expires, then what?
thats the situation here, these people's visa expired, they need to go, and try proper channels for gaining immigration just like millions of others who go thru the hoops, do the paper work, stay in their countries, get background checks and all, and then come here.
