Underwear as Gift

Re: Underwear as Gift

First of all, I’m sorry M_Was_Here if my post hurt you. I PROMISE I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful or contemptuous to your exchange of gifts or anything else, for that matter. It is just that when I read your post, it reminded of something that happened with me, too, and I was re-collecting and sharing what I felt when it happened.

@redvelvet, A couple of “naseehatein” - which you are ever so ready to give out to others - your way: 1) Try not to jump down on to conclusions just by reading a like or two and 2) Please don’t try to aaag lagana when it’s hardly needed or called for.

I don’t care if exchange of chaddis or bras or whatever happens between whosoever. If you re-read my previous post, you can see it yourself that I wasn’t being nasty to M-Was_Here either. All I said was that such thing happened to me once as well and it freaked me out at that point of time as I didn’t know an exchange of lingerie could happen between an unmarried couple. It doesn’t mean my views have changed now when I have grown older. I still find such thing extremely inappropriate and wouldn’t do it MYSELF with a person I’m not married to. Having said this, I live my life on Live and Let Live term and don’t go dissing people around who happen to be doing something I feel inappropriate or don’t approve of.

Nor am I the only one who seemed surprised on MWH’s post, am I? So I don’t think I’d be highly wrongful to assume this hasn’t become a norm between Pakistani unmarried couples yet, am I? Or, at least, people do it but just don’t actually cough up that they do so, right?
