I wouldn't mind at all, though my fam would have a thing or two to say about it (most of them involving a big stick and some angry waving noises)
when you say underwear as a gift, do you mean all nicely packaged and sent to your front door (it does happen) or just surreptitiously sneaked into your bedroom and tried on in secret?

Having thought about it for some considerable time I have come to the conclusion its a genius idea. If you give sexy underwear as a gift and the girl reacts favourably you have jump started the relationship to the bedroom.

If however the girl rejects your gift she is most likely to return it to you, where you could recycle it to another more willing girl. It's a WIN WIN :)
